Dovehouse Pool is just under two acres with a depth of 3' to 10' Known species are: large Common and Mirror Carp, small Carp, Crucian Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Chub and the odd Trout.
There are 28 pegs with parking for about fifteen cars.
Please read the rules on the notice board. Absolutely no litter, no dogs or radios. Please do not wander around the farm land.
Directions
From the M6 leave at junction 16 and head West as though going to Border or Crewe. When you reach the roundabout with the turnig for Border follow the signs for Hough on the A52. Travel for about half a mile and you will come to a railway bridge with traffic lights, go over bridge and travel for about half a mile, be aware of speed cameras. Turn left into Cobb Lane and follow for about three quarters of a mile. Dovehouse farm is the first big farm on the right hand side, set back from the road. Look for the club sign at the entrance to the farm track. Drive slowly and follow the track for 200yds. Go through the barrier gate on theleft and look for the pointer sign. Follow hedge row for 150yds whilst looking for the car park sign. Go through gate number two and onto the car park. The pool is in front of you.
