Position of
bailiff in Bay Malton Angling Club
These position are only open to club members.
Is the lot of a bailiff a happy one? More than likely yes, most
of the time. Like most jobs it is as easy or as hard as you make
it. Good and responsible bailiffs are hard to come by it would
appear. It is one of the most important positions in any angling
club, yet most people shy away from it. Let's face it most of us
have taken a lot from our sport, being a water bailiff is a way
of giving something back.
You get a few hours a week in the fresh air in great surroundings
meeting people like yourself. It is a full time position but not
a full time job. All that is required is to give 100% to the job.
All to often people apply just to get the badge but do not really
want to do the job. Remember a bailiff is the eyes and ears of
the club.
As well as fishery and stock you are there to help and look
after club members, especially the young and more vulnerable.
Positions open to male and female.
Help given from the club together with guidelines (see below)
to successful applicants. Please read to see if this is you.
There are perks with the job but they have to be earned. Honest
and reliable bailiffs are required for Border, Lymm Dam, Longbarn
Pool, River Dane Holmes Chapel, Brookhouse Pool. To apply or find
out more give the Head Bailiff a call on 07762041237. You are
needed.
