Work is currently underway on bringing the Meridian Canal back to it’s former glory as one of if not the best match fishing venues in the North ,substantial investment is being made on fish re-stocking ,platform repairs and general maintenance of this top class water ,Many thank’s to all those assisting in this on-going work ,more helpers are always appreciated though so if you can help please contact either Pete Merry the club’s water maintenance officer or Elaine Merry the club’s secretary via Border Fishery on 01270 820812 , Thank’s to all our members for your patience whilst these substantial work’s take place .
