Bentley pool
This water is a lovely secluded spot set in a small wooded valley. There is an island and the water is stream fed - formed by a dam at the far end. It’s very deep here and shallows off towards the near end where the stream enters. The pegs around and opposite the island are a good bet but don’t fish too far out as the fish are often caught in the warmer water near the margins.
Known for its big tench and carp (up to over 20lbs), there are also Roach, Rudd, Blue Dace, Bream, Crucian Carp, large Trout and Chub. Trout must be returned to the water immediately. Please read your club book for all rules applicable to this water.
