The club invites new Members Membership through their online portal CLUBMATE. New members will need to create an account the first time they access the member portal. They will then be able to use this account to maintain their personal details and renew memberships in the future.
Existing Members can also renew online through the portal.
Accessing membership online, which is the preferred option, is the quickest and safest way and can be done by clicking on the button below. Once online you can set up your account making sure all personal details recorded are correct.
Online payments can be made safely and securely via STRIPE via the online portal. ANY members who are UNABLE TO ACCESS ONLINE or PREFER OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS CAN pay through the office at Border Fisheries, Waybutt Lane, Crewe, CW2 5QA, by debit/credit card, cash or send a cheque to the membership secretary made payable to BAY MALTON ANGLING CLUB and include a stamped addressed envelope.
All members are reminded that they must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence, when fishing club waters.
New membership is available from the 1st of December 2023 and runs until the 28th of February 2025. We currently hold a waiting list of people waiting to join, these memberships will be offered on a first come first served basis. Any remaining memberships will then be made available.
Applicants who are currently on the waiting list will be contacted and invited to join the club.
When membership is available, online applicants are required to open a Clubmate account ensuring that all the required fields in the personal profile form are completed in full, with a clear head and shoulders photo uploaded before saving and continuing.
Once an account is open, an applicant can choose the appropriate NEW MEMBER PLAN by clicking on START NEW MEMBERSHIP.
Once a Clubmate account has been opened and verified, active members will be able to log into their account at any time from the CLUB WEBSITE HOME PAGE or the mobile CLUBMATE APP (Available to download on your smartphone). From here you will be able to maintain personal details, view member information, book on activities and complete any renewals online.
Payments can be made through the portal safely and securely using the STRIPE payment system.
Once membership has been approved, a membership card will be sent through the post, which should be signed and a passport sized photograph added.
Junior Membership is free of charge, however junior members must always be accompanied by an adult member when fishing club and affiliated waters.
Junior membership is not available online.
Initially a parent or guardian can apply by contacting the membership secretary at email@example.com or calling the office on 01270 820812 where the application process can be explained.
In addition, a junior member must be added to an adult members club card and authorised by the membership secretary, this process ensures a link between the child to the appropriate adult member. Once added to the card, a passport sized photograph must be included.
This application can be completed by calling into the office at border fisheries with your card or ideally requested at the same time an Adult membership is purchased by email so they can be added BEFORE your membership card is sent.
Intermediate membership is for 15 to17 year olds and can be purchased online.
Each member profile will have its own member record created within Clubmate which can be linked to the parent or guardian purchasing the membership for the child.
Linking membership details is a feature to provide parents with the ability to create their child’s profile and then purchase a membership on their behalf, however it could easily work for any member that wants to act on behalf of someone who doesn’t have an email address or doesn’t want to go online themselves eg, husband, wife, grandfather or just a friend.
With this function it is possible for a member to create an additional profile and manage their details in exactly the same way. For more information on this please contact the membership secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01270 820812.
Existing members can renew their membership online by accessing the button below from the 1st of December 2023 up until 29th February 2024. You can access your online account by using the same email address you originally registered with the club. Any member who does not hold an email address or experiences any issues renewing, please contact the office on 01270 820812.
Anyone who renews after this date will need to rejoin as a new member and a rejoining fee of £15 will be applied.
