River Birkin
Here is a more up to date view of the
Birkin which as those of us who used it last year can see the Water
Management Team's work has paid off the lack of Giant Hog Weed at the
moment is proof of that - let's hope it stays that way for some
time.You will also notice the water quality is good and that
we have two "interlopers" which I have been assured are actually
domestic ducks - tho' they do originate from some lake or other in the
middle of Washington State The owner has reported to me that they have
taken out Australian nationality and gone walk about and are presumed
to be nesting somewhere in the vicinity.
