Thornhills Fishery

Description
Thornhills is a fairly large pool with a large island at one end and two smaller islands at the other end. located next to a conservation area in Goostrey Cheshire. This water also has the advantage of being located behind a shop severing hot and cold drinks and a bait shop. The water levels on this water do drop in the summer months due to the water table.

(If any members fishing there wish to use the new entrance please phone Border giving your name and membership no. members will then be informed of the code for the electric gates. The gate with the BMAC lock on, if open, leave open. If locked lock it. But the electrically operated one must be locked after its use, whether entering or leaving. )
Rules
No wading or swimming.
Barbless hooks only Maximum size 12.
No Braided line allowed.
No radios allowed.
No night fishing allowed.
Fishing from dawn till dusk.
Fishing from stagings only.
One rod only allowed.
Keep nets must be emptied every 5 hours.
Keep net ban from the 1st March to 16th June.
All litter to be taken home with you.
Anyone leaving litter will be dealt with as club rules.
Anglers under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
All anglers MUST have a current E.A rod license.
Parking in car park provided.
All Vehicles must display a club car sticker.
